Panphet Phadungchai – Silver medalist at SEA Games 2019 and reigning world champion Muay Thai (Thai boxing) has passed away.
Thai media reported that boxer Panphet Phadungchai – the world champion Muay Thai – took his last breath at the hospital.
After the Muay Thai match on July 15, Panphet Phadungchai was hit by a very dangerous elbow from the French boxer and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The French boxer was awarded a Knock-out victory, and Panphet was taken to the hospital soon after.
Panphet Phadungchai is only 25 years old and is the pride of Thai martial arts. It is known that his wife has just given birth to their first child.
