A video has recorded Ronaldo’s angry and uncontrolled behavior at Goodison Park stadium, after losing 0-1 to Everton. Ronaldo smashed phone of an Everton fan.
According to the video, on the way back to the dressing room, Ronaldo suffered curses from fans. In anger, with a bleeding wound on his left leg, the male player smashed a phone of a young boy – an Everton fan named Jake Harding.
CR7 also posted an apology
On his personal social media account, CR7 also posted an apology for his angry action. He promised to invite that young fan to Old Trafford to watch Man United play.
He wrote: “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngster who live the beautiful game. I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship”.
In the match against Everton, Ronaldo also lost his temper after 87 minutes. He received a yellow card. CR7 also finished the match with a score lower than Harry Maguire – who made the mistake of giving a goal to Everton.
However, Ronaldo is also accused of attacking Jake Harding, Liverpool City Police are investigating.
Specifically, after breaking the phone, the mother of this young fan also accused the Portuguese star of “assaulting” causing her son to bruise.
Jake Harding’s mother denounces Ronaldo. Jake Harding is autistic and this is the first football game he has ever attended.
“You can see this bruise. I cried because of what my son went through. He is autistic and has trouble breathing and had to go through this on his first game at Goodison Park Stadium. It completely ruined our day.”
“My son filmed all the Man United players passing by him. He saw Ronaldo pull down his socks to reveal his bleeding feet. He just took the phone to record and didn’t say anything. But Ronaldo got mad and attacked my son,” said the boy’s mother.
Liverpool City Police said: “We are in contact with Everton and Manchester United after receiving reports of the above attack at Goodison Park. A young boy was assaulted by a Man United player. We will investigate. Investigate security footage and interrogate witnesses to determine criminal activity.”
