To celebrate, he tweeted that “I could sell this coins right now and make almost a million dollars in just 11 hours, but of course not”.
Previously, the president of El Salvador bought Bitcoin at $50,000 in September 2021 and continued to buy more even when Bitcoin peaked at $69,000 in November 2021. This makes El Salvador to became one of the largest bitcoin storage countries in the world.
