According to The Verge, Lofi Girl works with artists to use their songs on live streams. However, Lofi Girl does not hold the copyright. This makes the longer the livestreams, the more likely they are to be copyrighted by YouTube’s ContentID system.
Because any song in a series of thousands of songs is copyrighted, the whole video will be taken down.
