Man United leaders hope to convince Marcus Rashford to stay and revive his career at Old Trafford.
Rashford‘s relationship with Man United hit a low point when he was left out of the starting line-up against Leicester City.
The British player was absent even though he was the only striker because Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to play due to illness.
Rashford wants to leave Man United because he thinks that interim coach Ralf Rangnick no longer believes in him.
PSG, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona are ready to buy the 24-year-old striker.
But Man United said they will keep Rashford when a new head coach is in place. Man United assured the British striker that all the coach candidates do not want him to leave.
According to one source: “Marcus Rashford is having a really hard time this season. He did not play even though Man United did not have another striker. He’s concerned that Ralf Rangnick doesn’t like him.”
“But Manchester United indicated that the candidates for the position of manager agree that he is very important to the club – and will still be part of the restructuring plan. So Marcus just needs to stay calm and wait.”
Wayne Rooney also advised Rashford to wait patiently and the important thing now is to train hard.
The Derby County coach also thinks that Rashford can completely break the record of the most goalscorer in Man United history that Rooney holds.
