After weak performances and disastrous mistakes that caused Man United to lose consecutively, recently Man United captain – Harry Maguire received a letter threatening to bomb his own home.
Immediately sniffer dogs (detection dogs) and special police were dispatched to conduct a search of the home of Maguire – the world’s most expensive midfielder.
It seems police have not found any explosives yet, so Harry Maguire’s family doesn’t need to move.
Netizens joked that the person who wrote the threatening letter was probably not Pogba.
Responding to the press, the Man United captain has officially stated that he is not afraid of threats and will be determined to stay and serve the team.
According to a source from The Sun, Harry Maguire said: “I believe that threatening email is just the product of cowards. My number one priority right now is the safety of my family, and I am brave enough to deal with that.”
He will still play normally in the next match against Arsenal.
After the 0-4 loss to Liverpool, Maguire became the focus of criticism of Man United fans. The hashtag #MaguireOut has been trending on Twitter, along with numerous death threats and curses at players. Police said they will prioritize protecting Maguire during this time.
