The International Center for Sports Studies CIES (CIES Football Observatory) has published a list of the most valuable players in the world. The organization calculates the transfer value of a player based on many factors, including salary, performance, and remaining time on the contract.

According to CIES, Erling Haaland is the third most expensive player in the world but is ranked first in the Premier League with a transfer value of 130.1 million pounds, more than double the price of 51.2 million pounds that Man City paid Dortmund to bring him to the Etihad.

Behind Haaland is Phil Foden with £106 million. Meanwhile, Luis Díaz (£94m) and Rúben Dias (£93.7m) respectively ranked next.

However, Phil Foden is not the most expensive English player. That position belongs to Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham with 114.3 million pounds.

In the list of 100 most valuable players, England has 18 players, more than any other country.
