The Vietnam Football Federation VFF denied rumors that many Vietnamese U23 players have diarrhea.
Before the match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Thailand at The 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, it was reported that 10 players of U23 Vietnam have diarrhea. In which, many pillars cannot play.
At 10:00 pm (June 2 UTC +7), U23 Vietnam will face U23 Thailand in the host country Uzbekistan. According to VnExpress, in the morning, nearly 10 Vietnamese U23 players have diarrhea of unknown cause. The doctors gave them medicine, but their condition did not improve.
This information makes many Vietnamese fans worried because Thailand is Vietnam’s great rival in Southeast Asia.
However, the Vietnam Football Federation VFF denied the above information and confirmed that none of Vietnamese U23 players have diarrhea.
The health of the members of U23 Vietnam is still normal, except for center-back Nguyen Thanh Binh, who suddenly had a fever after taking a nap, so he did not attend the match against U23 Thailand national team.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
