Amber Heard admitted in court that she beat Johnny Depp to protect herself and her sister. According to NBC News, Amber Heard returned to court in Fairfax, Virginia, USA on May 5 to continue her lawsuit against Johnny Depp.
This time, Heard admitted and recounted the first time she hit back Johnny Depp. According to Heard, the incident took place in Los Angeles (California, USA) a few weeks after being sexually assaulted by Depp in Australia (in 2015).
Heard suspected Depp of having an affair when she discovered him visiting another woman’s house. “I immediately asked him about it. I didn’t care that he could kill me at that moment,” Heard said.

After scolding Johnny Depp, Amber Heard went to the next room to meet her sister – Whitney Heard. Depp chased her, and scuffled with the Heard sisters on the stairs. Heard said she hit Depp when he tried to hit her sister.
“I never hit him. That was the first time. I hit him in the face. Johnny wasn’t hurt and laughed at me. Then he hit me again and again.”

According to the actress, during the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Salazar’s Revenge in Australia in 2015, Johnny Depp lost sleep for a long time and became grumpy. Judge Penney Azcarate ended the trial at about 5:30 p.m. on May 5, later than previous hearings. The court will be closed for more than a week before reopening on May 16 and is expected to close on May 27. Azcarate reminded the jury should not to read or watch the information about the lawsuit online or on television to avoid distraction.
