A Ukrainian woman named Marta Smekhova on March 6 met a little girl named Amelia in a bunker in the capital Kyiv. 

Amelia confided that she wanted to sing “on a big stage” and in front of many audiences.

The girl’s family and everyone in the bunker encouraged Amelia to sing. Amelia chose the song Let it go, the OST of the animation Frozen by Walt Disney.

Everyone gave the girl a lot of applause.

After Smekhova posted a video of Amelia singing in the bunker on social media, it went viral, garnering tens of millions of views on Twitter.

Actress Idina Menzel, who voices the main character Elsa and performed the soundtrack for Frozen, also praised the Ukrainian girl’s performance.

The little girl Amelia is one of the millions of Ukrainians still remaining in Ukraine as Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine enters its second week.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights says at least 406 civilians have been killed and 801 injured since February 24.

The number of people who had to leave their homeland has reached 1.7 million.
